Alright, so there’s this game called Bridge Constructor Studio. It’s like a sandbox for all you engineering puzzle lovers out there, and guess what? It’s finally arrived on PC VR, PlayStation VR, and PS VR2. Why did it take so long? No idea. But hey, it’s here.
So, ClockStone Studio made this (they also did LEGO Bricktales, if that rings a bell). Headup published it. It first popped up on Quest like a surprise party you didn’t expect, back in December. And now, bam, you can find it on basically all major platforms. With VR. For when you want to feel like you’re in the game — quite literally since 2011. Crazy, right?
There’s this whole 70-puzzle campaign. Sounds intense, but it’s kind of cool. They present these like tiny 3D dioramas, and you throw materials around like wood, steel, concrete — you name it. You don’t even have to worry about budget. I mean, you could, for extra goodies, but that’s totally your call.
Oh, and it’s not just about bridges. You get thrown into five different biomes — like snowy places and deep valleys. Very postcard-esque. And vehicles? Everything from transporters to some quirky pizza delivery vans. Did I mention five different profile slots? Yeah, so you can let your friend play without messing up your game. Sweet deal.
So yeah, Bridge Constructor Studio is available now on Steam, GOG, EGS, PlayStation, and Meta Quest. But heads up, if you’re into mixed reality, that’s just for Quest 3. Why? Beats me. Life’s little mysteries.
