Whoops, here goes nothing! So, Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders just got a massive shake-up today. I mean, like boom! Guess what? We’ve got Trick Mode now and if that doesn’t tickle your fancy, Free Ride Mode is making a comeback. It just screams fun, don’t you think?
In January, the skiing scene opened with a bang on Xbox Game Pass and wow, over a million of you already skiing down those frosty peaks. Megagon Industries is really on a roll here. They hit us with this Freestyle update — 100+ challenges added in, I kid you not! Plus, they’re serious about making it more inclusive. It’s like a welcome party, and everyone’s invited. Let’s dive in, shall we?
Picture this: Trick Mode — riding all cool, pulling flips and spins like a wannabe Tony Hawk on ice. A fresh way of looking at things, right? Speedrunning might not even cut it anymore because flipping into the leaderboard top spot takes new moves.
Oh, and Free Ride Mode… it’s back! If you’re the kind who loves freedom, this is it. No checkpoints holding you back. But, hey, every tumble takes you right back to square one. Talk about nerve-racking!
Both modes come swinging with leaderboards and achievements. The cherry on top? No more multiplayer needed to max out your player level. Thank goodness — I’ve always been more of a lone wolf kind of player. Multiplayer? Meh.
Accessibility? They’ve got that covered too. Now you can throw in auto-brake or auto-accelerate — which is a game-changer if you ask me. All about simplicity here. Less button mashing too, yay!
Wish I could stop here, but there’s more! Map those buttons and keys your own way. Mouse and keyboard — mix and match however you please. Really opens up the game for all kinds of players.
And here’s hoping, fingers crossed, this Freestyle update pulls in a more diverse crowd. Seriously, it’s wild to think about all the potential mad-cool tricks and speed runs we’ll see. Can’t wait to watch those highlight reels.
Well, happy shredding down those Lonely Mountains! Daniel and the whole Megagon crew, they’re ready for your insane videos. Go make ‘em proud, folks!
