Sure, here’s my take. Brace yourself!

Nintendo’s really out here shaking things up. They just dropped that their new game, Drag x Drive, hits the Switch 2 on August 14. I mean, wheelchair basketball? Didn’t see that coming. And, plot twist, it uses mouse controls. Weird combo, right? Anyway, the same day Madden NFL 26 is dropping. What’s with all the sports stuff?
Thinking about it, this Drag x Drive thing might give us clues about Nintendo’s 2025 game drop schedule. Or not. I don’t know. But August is gonna be popping with Switch 2 vibes. Also, Kirby and the Forgotten Land gets a Switch 2 facelift, and we’re talking “Mouthful Modes.” I’m curious and a bit creeped out.
Let’s hop to July! Donkey Kong Bananza — wait, is that spelled right? And Super Mario Party Jamboree gets a re-release, with something called Jamboree TV. I’m lost already. But the theme seems to be a mix of oldies and newbies.
September looks like a dry desert. Nintendo’s MIA, while third parties bust out stuff like Borderlands 4 and Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. Saving the day, I guess?
October, though — kaboom! Pokémon Legends: Z-A drops, and now I’m wondering if I can handle another cross-generation mess.
Fast forward to 2025, and there’s Kirby Air Riders. No date, and same with Metroid Prime 4: Beyond — which is a mouthful, let me say. They’d totally fit September’s vibe, especially with Kirby already hogging August. Maybe I’m just hungry.
The fall has a bunch of random bits too. Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, Hades 2 — I mean, a lot. Oh, and Hollow Knight: Silksong. Not to forget, Call of Duty’s lurking around. The Switch 2 buffet never ends.
Almost forgot! Zelda’s brawler thing, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, is pegged for “winter.” Whatever that means. Early 2026, maybe?
Oh, and GameCube goodies might spice up the barren spots with Switch Online shenanigans. Super Mario Sunshine, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance — and, well, you get it. Loads of nostalgia.
The thing with Nintendo is, expect surprises. Or not. Who knows what they’re cooking up.
