Nintendo Releases – July 3, 2025 – News

Alright, here we go. So, imagine this: the week’s crawling like it’s got nowhere to go, right? Blame it on the Go Fest blues or maybe it’s just the uneasy dread of that leaky ceiling in my editor’s apartment. Seriously, the first week of Q3 is usually a snooze fest (thanks, Canada Day and July 4th), but this one’s pretty… anticlimactic. No Switch 2 drops either—total bummer.

It’s all about waiting for Super Mario Strikers or Mario Smash Football now. But until then, what do we have? Just a slim lineup. There’s the Irem Collection dropping on Wednesday, a little something tied to Slender, and the third game in some series we apparently skipped the second of. I mean, whoops?

And let’s talk about those “shadowdrops.” Who knows, might be light this time? Fingers crossed.

Oh, and last week’s blind spot? Crazy Balloon sneaked into the Archives. How could I forget that quirky lil’ number? The kind of thing you didn’t know you needed, right? Also, anyone worried about needing Japanese to play the EggConsole game? Fear not, my friend—it’s mostly action RPG vibes. Should be good.

North America

There’s Irem Collection Volume 3 going for around 25 bucks. Tuesday’s the day if you’re into it. Slender Threads and Poly Bridge 3 priced somewhere around 20; not too shabby. Also, No Heroes Here 2 lands on Tuesday at just under 20 bucks.

Dead of Darkness taps in on Wednesday for about 16, and Friday? All The Words She Wrote hits shelves for close to 13 bucks. Perfect for a weekend of gaming with a good coffee, or two… maybe.

Does Dragon Eclipse sound familiar? No? Well, it’s on Tuesday too, at about 10 bucks. There’s a heap of others like Aery, Beat of Life, and Battle Rockets priced near 10 bucks too. Loads to sift through if you’re in the mood.

Sales & Price Drops

Oh, did I forget to mention summer sale action? Nintendo’s got some delicious discounts on Xenoblade goodies through July 10th. Snag those deals while they last!

Europe

For our European folks, Irem Collection Volume 3 is around 25 euros. Poly Bridge 3 and Slender Threads both for nearly 20 euros. No Heroes Here 2 for about 18 on Tuesday.

Dead of Darkness awaits its Wednesday spotlight at roughly 16 euros. Friday sees All The Words She Wrote for about 13 euros. Keep an eye out.

Dragon Eclipse on Tuesday costs around 10 euros, and if that ain’t enough, there’s Beat of Life, Music Drive: Chase the Beat, and more floating around the same price.

Anyone else think they should’ve packed umbrella for the sales on Xenoblade classics? Probably just me remembering last weekend’s rain…

Now, Japan—Slender Threads goes for around 2920 yen. Dead of Darkness and No Heroes Here 2 available for 2000 yen each. Feeling adventurous? Dive into Aery – Titans of the Future for roughly 1500 yen.

There’s also a mix of lower-priced gems like Into The Emberlands and Fool’s Pub. A snip at under 1100 yen. Great for those on a budget or if you’ve only got 15 minutes before a meeting.
