From August 1 to 3, the Evo event in Vegas is letting folks try out Arc System Works’ new baby, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. I mean, with PlayStation XDEV in the mix, it’s kind of obvious Evo—being in the PlayStation family—would break the ice with this game.
By the way, VGC mentioned something about fans getting to rumble with a squad of four characters. And there’s a panel too. I think it’s with people from Arc System Works and Marvel Games. Should be interesting, or not. Depends on your mood, I guess.
Oh, and they say, “Attendees will be able to duke it out with their friends”—imagine throwing Iron Man and Captain America into the mix with a couple others like Storm and Doctor Doom. Six legends to pick from. Honestly, Ms. Marvel and Star-Lord are in there too, which is kind of cool… or maybe that’s just the comic geek in me talking.
But hey, if you’re like me and stuck at home, don’t sweat it. They’re streaming the whole shebang live, so everyone can get a little taste of what’s to come—Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls doesn’t drop till 2026, though. Long wait, right?
