Sure thing, here we go!

So, SEGA just dropped a bombshell—yeah, another one. They’re rolling out a Sonic Racing CrossWorlds animation this September. It’s to hype us up for the next Sonic kart racer. I mean, who doesn’t love watching a blue blur zoom around?
You got land, air, sea—all that jazz is back, but guess what? They’ve thrown in these funky Travel Rings. Mid-race, you’re whisked away to these brand-new CrossWorlds. It’s like, one minute you’re on a track, next minute you’re… somewhere else. How wild is that?
And about the characters—seriously, this roster is gonna be the biggest of any Sonic racing game ever. You can tweak your ride, swapping parts and powers here and there. Make it yours, you know?
Then they talked updates. Free ones! More Sonic peeps, plus, you’d never guess… characters from other SEGA worlds are crashing the party. Joker from Persona 5 Royal, Kasuga Ichiban from Like A Dragon, and hold up—Hatsune Miku? Yep, she’s in there too. Crazy.
Digital Deluxe is upping the ante, tossing in characters from Netflix’s Sonic Prime. There’s this Season Pass—guest stars, vehicles, whole new tracks from big franchises. Starting with Minecraft, of all things. Honestly, who saw that coming?
Oh, there’s a rundown of the game’s features. Check this:
Ready, Set, Warp! Travel Rings are this wild new tool. Imagine zipping through dimensions with Sonic and co. Every race is different and unpredictable. Just the way I like it.
Race Across Space and Time: Pick from 23 characters, blaze through 24 main tracks, and what? Use Travel Rings for jaunts to 15 CrossWorlds. Seems like an adventure.
Gadgets! Oh boy, before hitting the track, you’ve got 70 gadgets to play with. Mix ‘em up, get perks, and shake up the race. Who doesn’t love a good shake-up?
Then the customization. This game’s all about letting you fiddle with vehicle parts and abilities to suit how you roll.
And twist alert—Extreme Gear’s making a comeback. If you’ve tried Sonic Riders, you know what I mean. Hoverboards, anyone?
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds hits the stores and the Nintendo eShop for Switch on September 25, 2025. But if you’re eyeing the Nintendo Switch 2, hang tight—that’s dropping later.
Oh, and there’s an animation teaser kicking around. If you find it, give it a peek. It’s bound to be a ride—literally!

That’s it, chaos and all. Enjoy!
