Prime Day’s just about closing up shop, huh? Last call for snagging those sweet deals in the VR gaming world. You know, I got caught up in the Quest 3S frenzy. They hit the market last October, priced at $300 for the 128 GB model and $400 for the 256 GB one. Not sure why, but I always fixate on the weird details—like how it’s a tad bulkier and, yeah, a bit cheaper than the Quest 3. Go figure.
Anyway, if you’re thinking of diving in on this final Prime Day—you’d better hurry. They’ve sliced the Quest 3S prices down to $250 and $330. Nice, right?
Here’s something that kinda made me chuckle, and I have no idea why: the 128 GB version comes with a Gorilla Tag bundle. That’s a game, by the way. And you score some goodies in it, plus 1,000 Shiny Rocks—sound like Monopoly money to anyone else?
As for the 256 GB version, it’s paired with Batman: Arkham Shadow. Apparently, though, Meta tosses that game in regardless of which one you grab. Classic, right?
Oh, and if accessories are your thing, heads up! There are bundles with the Quest 3S on Amazon, featuring everything from an Elite Strap to a carry case. Not cheaper bundles, mind you—just bundled. Some days I can’t figure marketing out.
Remember last Black Friday? (Who can forget?) The 128 GB had that whopping $75 Amazon Gift Card deal. Those were the days.
But hey, it’s still not a bad deal if you’re itching to explore VR worlds like Asgard’s Wrath 2 or Skydance’s BEHEMOTH. Or if you’re into hooking it up to a VR-ready PC for some Half-Life: Alyx action.
Still mulling it over? Check our full review on the Quest 3S. We figured even at $300, it’s hard to beat. Then again, maybe I’m just getting nostalgic. Who knows.
