Sure thing. Here we go:

Waiting for a new game feels like waiting for toast to pop—when, you know, you’re really hungry. Maybe we’ll get remasters soon, or maybe it’ll be next April, or… further? Who even knows. There are fans—loyal, wild ones—dreaming they could just swim across the sea again with Ecco the dolphin. Honestly, if they even get past level one, they’re heroes. Seriously, those games are hard. Especially Ecco: Defender of the Future, which, I guess, was the third—dolphin’s choice, third-dolphin view. Even though Annunziata didn’t dive into that sequel, it still had those creepy classics vibes: like the music was atmospheric in a haunting way, shadowy monsters lurking, and well, don’t even start on that tough learning curve. I replay it and remember how sad it is knowing—I’ll never be a dolphin.
Oh, speaking of, Annunziata gets it. I mean, he told Xbox Wire he kinda dreamed of life as a dolphin. He thought dolphins were like… the closest thing to people in the water. Makes you think, right? Like a deep thought from a guy with a big brain. He also said gamers (you know, people who play) are smart. Like “IQ-high” smart and loving enough to make real-life differences. And yeah, he’s talking about the game helping folks think about ocean care. Which fits because, as a Pacific Islander dude, he’s really into the ocean feels.
Picture this: A culture totally in sync with the ocean, like best friends who just cycle together. Humans help the ocean, not make it worse, you get me? Living in a rhythm with it, learning its waves, both literal and metaphorical. Anything that makes us love the ocean more? We should be all over that! Annunziata said that too. I swear.
Anyway, back to Ecco—it’s getting remastered, baby! Annunziata plus the OG team are on it. But ugh, no dates yet for when they’ll drop the remasters or this mysterious new Ecco game. We’ll just have to hang tight.
