Hey, so there’s this game—Into the Radius 2. Ever heard of it? Probably not. But anyway, it’s apparently a survival shooter, and it’s kinda creepy, in a good way. It’s heading to Quest 3 and 3S soon, like, later this month. Around May 21, I think. Mark your calendar or don’t. No pressure.
So, here’s the gist: You’re thrown into this weird place called the Pechorsk Security Zone. Sounds inviting, right? You can tackle it solo or grab a friend if you’ve got any who’d dare join. I read somewhere it started on Steam Early Access. Honestly, I always wonder who plays these things first. Brave souls, I guess.
Let’s chat about the Quest 3 version, ’cause there’s a catch. Or a few. It won’t completely match up with the PC version initially. CM Games said something about working on it. Eventually. But for now, some places and features like the Pechorsk Outskirts or Distortion Zones won’t be there. And playing across different platforms? Nah, that’s not a thing yet. Maybe later. Or maybe not.
Oh, and if you’re rocking a Quest 2… well, tough luck. They’ve ruled that version out. Sorry, not sorry?
But hey, there’s some good news! Whatever cool stuff dropped in their recent ‘Ghost Town’ update will make it to launch. Think customizable chest rigs—like I even know what those are—new guns, and some proximity voice chat. I can already imagine shouting at my screen. Too real?
Anyway, if you’re curious or just bored, the game’s out there on Steam Early Access. The Quest 3/3S version is coming soon too. Time to gear up, I guess. Whatever floats your boat.
