Sure thing, let’s dive in.

You ever notice how news about games just… pops up outta nowhere? Like one minute you’re sipping your morning coffee, and then — bam! — IO Interactive decides to throw a showcase. Seriously, their first-ever event is happening this week, and I’m kind of all over the place excited. Not sure why, but it caught my attention.
Anyway, they’re going live this Friday, June 6, at whatever o’clock your time zone decides to exist in. Actually, it’s 6pm PDT, 9pm EDT, or, if you’re feeling European, that’s 2am BST and 3am CEST on Saturday, June 7. You got options, alright? Twitch, YouTube, TikTok… pick your poison for viewing.
What are they showing? Trailers, announcements, demos, those things we all pretend aren’t just marketing but secretly love, right? Oh, and there’s some kind of live Q&A with folks from IO Interactive and that Build A Rocket Boy studio. Fancy stuff.
Wait, did I mention they’ll show off their Glacier engine thing? No? Well, now I did. Sounds chilly? But I bet it’s hot.
Their CEO, Hakan Abrak (cool name, no lie), mentioned they’re celebrating 25 years of HITMAN. Twenty-five. That’s a long time to be creatively offing people in digital spaces. And yeah, they’re promising surprises. So many surprises.
Okay, let’s talk games — or at least, IO Interactive’s plans for ’em:
First up, Hitman World of Assassination. With it turning 25, I’m expecting some wild announcements. New content, maybe something totally unexpected. We can dream, right?
Then there’s MindsEye. Never heard of it? Me neither until now. It’s an action-adventure thriller from Build A Rocket Boy. They’re doing this whole “premium content monthly” thing. Whatever keeps us hooked, I guess. Mark your calendar for June 10, 2025, maybe?
Oh, and 007 First Light. James Bond in the gaming world — IOI’s been teasing this one for a while. Could be cool, or maybe it’s just gonna mess with our expectations. We’ll see soon enough.
So, this showcase? It’s all happening, folks. Probably going to be one of those late nights for some of us but, hey, such is life. Catch it or miss it — something tells me the internet won’t let us forget about it.
Anyway — did I even cover everything? Feels like I’m forgetting something… Bah, whatever. Keep an eye out for it, or don’t. Up to you.

Phew. Done.
