Following the launch of Mario Kart World, a fresh app hit the scene to spice up the Free Roam mode. You know, Mario Kart World — the latest twist in the series, flipping things around like a pancake, but not… if you get what I mean.
So, the biggie? It’s this huge open world. And while modes like Grand Prix and Knockout Tour have us zooming from place to place, Free Roam lets you, well, roam. Picture this: searching every nook for Peach Medallions and those cheeky Question Mark Panels. Plus, those P Switches sprinkle the world with missions. It gets a bit tedious, doesn’t it? No clues or helpers to tell you what’s left. But hey, there’s a new app to the rescue.
Enter this MK World Travel Guide (I guess GVG spotted it first). Jeffrey Kuiken, our app genius, whipped up this tool to make life easier. It’s like an interactive map showing you all the goodies — P Switches, Medallions, the works! And you can add notes and pins, which is kinda cool. It’s $1.99, so not breaking the bank. Shame, though, it’s only on iOS for now. Can someone please think of the Android folks?
One hiccup with Mario Kart World’s big ol’ open world is tracking progress. This app – a real gem – simplifies that mess. You can mark off challenges, hide stuff you haven’t found yet, and clear out the clutter on your map. It’s the little things, right?
Using another device to check all this — yep, a bit inconvenient, but hey, the features are pretty nifty. Reminds me of that Zelda Notes thing. Game-changer? I’d say so, especially if you wanna squeeze every drop out of Free Roam.
