Nintendo Releases – April 10, 2025 – Updates

After a week that was nothing short of chaotic, we’re back to some semblance of normalcy on the original Switch.

Looking back, we did miss a few things last week, like the inclusion of Namco’s Assault Plus in the Archives. Reflecting on the whirlwind of events, it’d be fair to say, “Well, that happened.” From the craziness of the Switch 2 Direct to the drama largely stemming from 20500, last week’s frantic eShop activity seems almost calm in hindsight. However, there are still a few gems to look forward to this time around, starting with Star Overdrive—a game centered around hovercraft racing that made a brief appearance in a recent Direct. Can you believe it’s been just a week and a half since that reveal? It feels so much longer! Also releasing soon is Battlefield Waltz from Idea Factory/Otomate. I’d recommend keeping an eye out for any day-one patches prior to diving in—I know I will be.

In other highlights, we have the “Promise Mascot Agency” and yet another installment in the Snow Bros. series. This week’s EggConsole game is a throwback maze game from 1983, so it looks like there’s a good opportunity to grab Pyramid Warp for those outside Japan.

### North America
This week’s lineup offers quite the variety. Battlefield Waltz lands on Tuesday at $49.99 (or C$75.60 in Canada). Come Friday, fans can take a shot at Big Buck Hunter: Ultimate Trophy for $39.99—or $49.99 across the border. Star Overdrive, a hot topic lately, is priced at $34.99. Snow Bros. 2 Special is in the lineup for $29.99, and the quirky Promise Mascot Agency can be yours for $24.99. Moving down the price scale, Pocket Bravery kicks off on Wednesday at $19.99. For animal lovers, Leo & Mia: Animal Rescue is available at $19.99. Couple that with Progress Orders at the same price, and the story-driven game Wind Story at $14.99. H Puzzle: Muscular Guys is holding steady at $14.99, and Pilo and the Holobook is a promising new title at $12.99.

On Friday, you can pick up ReMix for $12, and earlier in the week, Electronics Supermarket Simulator launches for $9.99 on Tuesday followed by Detective From The Crypt for $9.99 on Wednesday. Friday seems busy, with releases like Barista Simulator 2025 and Mortisomem both tagged at $9.99. Saturday sees Gladiators Simulator: The Champions of Liberty also priced at $9.99. Meanwhile, newcomers such as Windborn: Concrete Jungle ($6.99) and Little Droid ($5.99) are also making their debut, alongside Skull Pirates: Adventures at the same cost. Puzzle enthusiasts might enjoy Hook: Complete Edition at a modest $3.99.

Friday offers more hidden gems like Gunspectre ($2.99), while the weekend introduces budget-friendly Shape Drop at just $0.99.

In terms of sales, there’s a great offering to anticipate. The highly-anticipated Hades sequel coming to both Switch models has the original Hades at an irresistible 65% discount until the 22nd.

European gamers can expect Battlefield Waltz to hit shelves on Tuesday, priced at €49.99 or £44.99, while Big Buck Hunter: Ultimate Trophy is set for Friday release at €39.99/£34.99. Snow Bros. 2 Special makes an entrance at €29.99/£26.99, and Promise Mascot Agency arrives on Wednesday for €24.50/£20.99. Switch fans in Japan are rewarded with releases like Memories Off Sousou at ¥8,580, along with Snow Bros. 2 Special at ¥4,500. Time Gal Re:birth is set at ¥4,180, with Star Overdrive priced at ¥3,960. There’s variety with Leo & Mia: Animal Rescue at ¥3,000 and Progress Orders at ¥2,970—sure to catch some eyes along with, Promise Mascot Agency at ¥2,800.

Psychiatric Prison Romance titles for both anime boys and girls are intriguing additions at ¥2,190 each. A lighter option, Pilo and the Holobook, comes in at ¥2,000. Also notable are the budget titles like Shape Drop at a value ¥100.
