Phew. Okay, so picture this — the Days of Play 2025 is almost wrapping up, but hold on, ’cause PS Plus is throwing one last gaming bone our way. It’s mid-June, and you know what that means? Yep, Asia’s ahead of the game (literally), snagging Grand Theft Auto III – The Definitive Edition before the rest of us. Like, they’re probably already knee-deep in chaos while we’re stuck twiddling thumbs until Tuesday. That waiting game, right?
So, yeah, did I mention it’s available on PS5 and PS4? There’s probably another universe where that’s still a dream. This GTA trilogy thing’s got nostalgia written all over it — we’re talking Vice City and San Andreas, too. But what’s new, you ask? Well, besides the usual jazzed-up lighting and textures (which sound fabulous, not gonna lie), they’ve thrown in some ‘modernized controls.’ Makes me wonder if I’ll finally stop accidentally driving into walls.
Oh, and mark calendars or set reminders or whatever. Days of Play calls it a day by June 11. Naturally, PS Plus has been showering us with bonus goodies like Destiny 2: The Final Shape (whatever that means — I’m picturing some kind of cosmic puzzle?), Another Crab’s Treasure (a game about crabs, I guess?), Skull and Bones, and… more Destiny stuff? I need a flowchart for these.
Anyway, new PS Plus lineup’s on the way. Whispers in the wind say “soon.” And yeah, games leaving in July — like a revolving door of joy. Stay tuned. Or not. Up to you.
