Sure thing, here we go:

So, I’ve been hearing some whispers about this whole Grand Theft Auto 6 thing. Seems like Rockstar might’ve been on a totally different page with the story. Or maybe not. Who knows, right? If the stars align and GTA 6 actually shows up on May 26, 2026, then we’re looking at, what, a 13-year-long dry spell since the last one? Man, time flies weirdly.
Initially, they were shooting for a fall 2025 release, but yeah, plans got shuffled like my Spotify playlist. So, fans gotta keep those patience hats on a bit longer. But hey, maybe this delay means we’ll get something that isn’t a bug-filled hot mess. Wishful thinking? Maybe.
Now, switching gears a bit, there was this thing on Medium by… Fravilys, I think? And apparently, once upon a time, someone named Dan Houser had ideas for GTA 6 that got filed under “nope.” Three characters were in the mix: a dirty cop, his kid, and some dude with a Colombian drug lord. Yeah, sounds like a Netflix series waiting to happen. Another wild draft revolved around a Vice City cop chasing vengeance and a smuggler. Dramatic, huh? And yet another had a cop and an ex-soldier team-up. Scripts flying everywhere, like confetti.
But hey, take all this with a grain of salt, like that random fact about cats always landing on their feet. Dan flew the coop from Rockstar in 2020, so whether he scribbled these tales down or not is anybody’s guess. His last hurrah was all about Red Dead Redemption 2, the cowboy fever dream.
What we do know – and by “know,” I mean “think” – is that Lucia and Jason are the stars in the final GTA 6 line-up. Lucia’s fresh out of the big house, and Jason’s knee-deep with some shady drug-running types. Could be he’s working with the cops. Could be not. Who can keep track?
Twists and turns are a given, but until then, it’s just us and our popcorn waiting for next year’s drop. I mean, if there’s anything this saga teaches us, it’s patience, right?
