Father’s Day, yeah, it’s sneakin’ up on us. Almost tripped over it the other day, but hey, time’s ticking. I found some cool stuff for June 14 (was it Saturday?) and thought, why not share it? Buckle up—this might get bumpy.
First up—Wizard of Legend 2. You probably haven’t heard of it, or maybe you have. Whatever. It’s got magic, and who doesn’t like that? More like who doesn’t need a bit of it in life?
Speaking of legends, you can save 20 bucks on Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Premium edition, mind you. Regular price is 100 bucks, but not today, folks. Comes with some DLC that’s hitting September 4. You into digging up virtual artifacts or something?
Magic: The Gathering crossed paths with Final Fantasy, and honestly, that’s a mashup I didn’t see coming. Amazon’s got ’em and, well, if you’ve never picked up a deck—not the worst time. And if you’re hunting rare cards—those boxes are calling your name. Or whispering, maybe.
Jumping to consoles, the Nintendo Switch OLED is marked down to $249.99. Looks like Woot’s dropping the price this weekend. OLED, so the colors pop—like watching fireworks while eating cotton candy. Or something. Oh, Switch 2 is hard to snag, they say. No idea who “they” are, but okay.
Then there’s Dan Da Dan. Could be just me—but it feels like stumbling onto a forgotten cartoon in a dusty attic, and you’re in the middle of it for $24.49. Aliens, spirits—chaos in a box set.
Apple AirPods Pro for $169. Your dad into tunes? Father’s Day is literally the next day. These buds block out the noise and could save you from hearing, uh, less than stellar music choices.
LEGO Star Wars Ahsoka Tano’s Duel on Peridea. Imagine holding a scene from the show in your hand. Five minifigs too. And the price—marked down. Can’t go wrong.
Trails in the Sky pre-orders are live, both for PS5 and Switch. It’s a throwback to the first Trails game and what better time? New game later this year, so maybe get ahead of the curve.
Oh, Donkey Kong Bananza’s up for pre-order, mostly ’cause it hasn’t been on Amazon in forever. Remember when DK was all the rage? Well, he’s back.
Darkest Dungeon II on PS5 for a smidge over 20 bucks. The upgraded token system, whatever that means, adds a twist or two. Cheaper than its usual price at nearly $30.
Anyway, there you have it. Last-minute grabs or maybe not. I don’t know how time works. Just felt like sharing, and now I’m off craving something—anything—magical.
